Patient instruction
We demo slowly and repeat fundamentals without making anyone feel behind.
Kansas City · established 2015
Clay Path Studio opened in Kansas City in 2015 when our founder got tired of pottery classes that rushed through the basics. We built a studio where beginners can fail safely and experienced makers have room to experiment.
The wheels run six days a week. Glazes are mixed in-house, firings are scheduled transparently, and instructors actually throw alongside students instead of lecturing from the corner.
Whether you are making your first mug or refining a signature form, you will work with people who remember what it feels like to wobble a wall.
We demo slowly and repeat fundamentals without making anyone feel behind.
Members help each other load kilns and share glaze notes.
You always know when your pieces go in and come out.
